Corona Virus Update

Hi everyone,
We hope that you are keeping well and enjoying this lovely September sunshine!

Although we are VERY much looking forward to seeing you all again, we have decided that with the uncertainty of how all things Covid will pan out over the Autumn and Winter, it would be sensible if we plan our new sessions to begin in the New Year.

We don’t want to let our ‘little grey cells’ to go to waste though! So while we wait for the fun to begin again, we’ll be searching to find new and fun activities going forward.

If you have anything in mind that you would like us to add to our future sessions then please drop your ideas into the church letterbox, or email them to us. (We would really love to hear from you anyway!!)

Thank you all for your patience and good humour. You are, each one of you, a massive inspiration to us all and we can’t wait to share a cuppa and rocky road with you all again soon.

God bless,
The CareFree Families Team

How do I join?

Our group is free to join and attend, so why not pop in one Wednesday during term time and meet the team – Mary, Bob & Corinne. You will receive a warm welcome (not to mention a cuppa!) the opportunity to see the club in action  and discuss any particular needs the team should be aware of. They will ask you to fill in a form just so that we can ensure we are aware of your child’s specific needs etc.  Alternatively if you would like to discuss this ahead of your visit please contact the church office or fill in the contact form with your details and the best way to contact you and one of the team will contact you.

When's it on?

Every Wednesday from 3.30pm till 5.30pm during term time.

If you are unsure when the group starts up after a break – click here to check the calendar or look on our Care Free Families Face Book Page.

Care Free Families

WEDNESDAYS 3.30PM – 5.30PM Term Time only

Care Free Families is our weekly free club designed especially for families with special needs including parents and young carers, as well as the wider family. Our desire is to enable families to find mutual support and friendship whilst enabling their children to have fun in a safe and happy environment.

Our facilities enable us to offer a range of activities, from the more exuberant in our large main hall to the slightly quieter different weekly craft which takes place in our café room. Refreshments are provided for free, (tea, coffee, squash and snacks) although you are welcome to bring something specifically for your child if you would prefer.

Prior booking is not necessary but if  you would feel more comfortable discussing your family’s specific needs ahead of your visit, in the first instance  please contact the church office or fill in our online contact form and one of the team will be in touch.
